Surveying a State's Education Policy Package
The Education Commission of the States conducts audits - both broad and focused - of a
state's education policies. Such an audit is useful to coalition leaders in that it shows the
current status of state policy across a broad range of topics (e.g., standards, assessment,
curriculum, teacher education, and accountability).
