This year the state STEM coalitions will be joined by directors of funded state-level Mathematics and Science Partnerships (MSPs). A special session on developing and sustaining MSPs will be part of the conference. -- Our conference is being co-hosted and supported by the U.S. Department of Energy and Texas Instruments Inc. The meeting will feature panels and speakers representing the federal departments of Energy, Education, Health, Defense, NASA, and others. -- The prime focus of our meeting will be new legislation, new initiatives, new directions and unfolding national resources for STEM improvement efforts. We will be looking at the future of STEM education reform, and at the role of the state coalitions and of our alliance as we move forward.
